Explore Finland ("the Platform") is an online travel marketplace operated by Explore Finland Oy, registered in Finland. The Platform connects travellers with local experience suppliers, tour operators, accommodation providers, and transport services across Finland.
By using the Platform, creating an account, or making a booking, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the Platform.
When you book an experience or package through the Platform, you enter into a contract with the supplier providing that service. Explore Finland acts as an intermediary and is not the provider of the travel services.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are displayed in EUR and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is taken at the time of booking.
Each experience has its own cancellation policy, clearly displayed before you book. The policy that applied at the time of purchase governs any cancellation. Refunds are processed to your original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear.

Suppliers listed on the Platform are independent businesses. They are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their services, and compliance with Finnish law, including consumer protection, safety, and insurance requirements.
You may browse and book as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
All content on the Platform, including text, images, logos, and software, is owned by Explore Finland Oy or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
Explore Finland Oy acts as a marketplace intermediary. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of suppliers, including cancellations, delays, injuries, or losses during experiences. Our liability is limited to the platform fees collected.
Where applicable, tour packages sold through the Platform comply with the Finnish Package Travel Act (valmismatkalaki). Package organisers carry the statutory responsibilities, including insolvency protection where required.
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are resolved in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
